Only THREE of 14 destination types actually persist an edit today — website, notes, document. Menu opens a real editor whose save is a no-op stub, so it dismisses as though it worked and silently discards the change. The remaining 10 show "Editing coming soon." Cost split matters here: gallery, video, audio and contact editors ALREADY EXIST and only need a router case wired, while payment, link hub, form, wifi, bluetooth and action must be built from scratch. Six of them also need a backend update endpoint that does not exist yet.

## The brief on file

DONE 2026-07-28 (Viv) — PR #163, commit ff228581, branch feature/destination-editors.

Built PaymentDestinationEdit + PaymentActionContent (content struct, Decodable response,
loadPaymentContent, updatePayment), added the .payment payload case and loadContent branch,
and wired the router case inside a NavigationStack (the view puts Save in a .toolbar and the
launchpad presents the router in a bare .sheet, so the wrapper is required).

Verified with a CLEAN xcodebuild into fresh derived data: ** BUILD SUCCEEDED **.
project.pbxproj carries exactly 4 references for both new files — the repo's own tell for
"this file actually compiles".

The save path was checked specifically against the menu-bug failure mode: dismiss() sits
INSIDE the do block, strictly after the awaited onSubmit returns, and the catch sets an error
without dismissing. It cannot dismiss as though it saved when it did not.

DETAIL WORTH KEEPING: the payload uses encodeNil(forKey: .amountCents) rather than omitting
the key, because payment.ts:241 gates on `amount_cents !== undefined` — an explicit null is
the only way to get back to "visitor chooses the amount". Omitting it would make that
transition impossible.

KNOWN GAP, matches existing product scope: Zelle payment destinations still land on an
"Editing isn't available for this provider" panel. Zelle is allowlisted by the API but absent
from PaymentProviderConfig, so there is no URL template to render. Stripe/Square connector
re-authorisation remains deliberately phase-3, per the create flow.
