## The brief on file

DONE — web half (commit e87c3cc5). The two SF Symbol maps now agree, and a test keeps them that way.

COUNT, settled: the task said 2 disagreements, the round-3 brief said 6. Diffing the maps directly gives NINE raw name-level differences — but three are import ALIASES, not glyph differences: `Link as LinkIcon`, `Image as ImageIcon`, and UserSquare/SquareUser (a deprecated lucide alias of the same icon). So SIX symbols genuinely rendered a different picture on each web surface. The brief's count is right; a naive string diff over-reports by three.

CONVERGED ON apps/web-mobile/lib/icons/ios-icon-compat.ts (SF_SYMBOL_MAP — note the export is not named IOS_ICON_MAP). It is plainly canonical: 281 symbols to apps/web's 27, it names the iOS files it mirrors (DestinationModels.swift → DestinationKind.icon, BrandTabBar.swift, AssetsDesignKit.swift), and its picks carry reasons where apps/web had only guessed:

That last looks wrong at a glance since it labels the Bluetooth row, but Radio is the SF-faithful choice for a radiating-waves glyph and web-mobile annotates it as the Bluetooth destination kind. Following the canonical map beat re-deciding per surface. The three aliases were normalised to lucide's canonical names too, so shared keys now read identically as well as rendering identically.

GATE: tests/unit/icon-map-parity.test.ts compares the maps by component IDENTITY, not by local import name. That distinction is load-bearing — a string compare would flag the three aliases as failures, and a check that cries wolf three times out of nine is one people learn to ignore. It also carries a size/overlap floor so an import resolving to an empty object fails loudly rather than passing vacuously. Confirmed it bites by injecting a deliberate drift; it names the symbol and both glyphs.

NOT DONE, deliberately, and not this bucket's:
· The shared-map package extraction stays a SPEC for the backend session — apps/A importing apps/B is a HARD depcruise rule, so the test is the drift guard until a package exists.
· The task also bundles an apps/android Destination.kt KDoc tail. apps/android belongs to the Android session; handing that fragment back rather than editing it.

Verified: depcruise/knip/sherif/syncpack 0 new vs the session baseline (knip actually dropped 336→335 — the converged imports retired an unused symbol). lint:web, build:web, tsc clean.
