## The brief on file

PARTIALLY DONE 2026-08-02 — same shape as t_d3910d13, minus the transcode.

COVERED: Xcode build green with the .audio router case and updateAudio wired (PR #185). Audio shares VideoAudioDestinationEdit with video and has no transcode step, so a replace is a straight file swap against /api/audio/:hash.

NOT COVERED: the HTTP round trip (t_6a029923), and there is no UIV catalog entry seeding the editor with a server-backed audio item, so the edit path is unreachable from the UI-validation harness. Worth adding one modelled on `edit-gallery-remote` (PR #186).

Audio is the least-exercised of the three media types overall — no production audio destination has been observed during any of today's work, and unlike video its pipeline has had no end-to-end verification at all.
