## The brief on file

Viv — audit both iOS and Android for any purchase link or upgrade CTA that leads to a purchase, per Matthew's no-IAP decision (t_77aa0eba, 2026-07-26): TacTile does no in-app purchases anywhere — all billing routes to Stripe on the web, and the apps only authenticate accounts already purchased there. APP STORE REJECTION RISK: Apple (and to a lesser extent Google) can reject an app that sells digital subscriptions without using the platform's IAP. TacTile's defensible position is that it's a B2B business tool whose accounts are bought on the web and the app merely signs you in — standard for B2B SaaS. The specific thing that draws rejection is the app LINKING OUT to a checkout/purchase flow from inside the app — that pattern reads as "selling digital goods outside IAP," which is exactly what's prohibited. An informational "you're on the Free plan, upgrade for more" message is fine; a tappable button/link that opens Stripe checkout or any purchase page is not. Done when: no screen in iOS or Android links to Stripe checkout or presents an upgrade call-to-action that leads to purchase; every Pro-gated feature (Analytics tabs, Family launchpad, etc.) shows an informational upgrade prompt only, with no outbound purchase link.
