## The brief on file

Viv — make the Cloudflare API calls inside the edge functions resilient. Done when: calls to the Cloudflare API from the custom-domain edge functions retry with exponential backoff on 429 and 5xx, give up after a bounded number of attempts, and log the final failure to Sentry rather than failing silently. WHY: the two live edge functions are custom-domain-cleanup and domain-health-check, and both talk to Cloudflare's API to manage customer white-label hostnames. Cloudflare rate-limits that API, so a burst of domain operations can fail transiently — and a failed cleanup leaves an orphaned hostname while a failed health check can mark a working customer domain as broken. Sentry is already wired into these functions via supabase/functions/_shared/sentry.ts, so the reporting path exists.
