## The brief on file

Per the handoff-experience design decision, implement "deferred deep linking": when the mobile-web handoff attempt fails (app not installed) and the user is sent to the App Store / Play Store, preserve which destination/tag they were trying to program through install and first launch — standard approaches are a deep-link parameter appended to the store URL that the app reads on first open (Android supports this natively via the install referrer API; iOS has no first-party equivalent and typically needs a clipboard-based fallback or a pasteboard handoff, or accept the simpler UX of just landing on the NFC/create screen post-install without full state). Decide the mechanism per platform and implement. Depends on the design decision task and the routing layer task.
