## The brief on file

DECIDED 2026-08-06 by Matthew: merge PR #229 first, then approve this wave WHOLE. No carve-out.

WHY THE APPROVAL WAS BLOCKED. The previous version of this prompt told you "nothing outstanding on the
iOS side". That was false: ContactViewer rendered a hardcoded demo card — "Alex Johnson — Design Studio
Inc." — instead of the customer's saved contact, on every contact preview.
DestinationViewerScreen.swift:82 called `ContactViewer()` bare against
`init(contact: Contact = .demoFull)`. The real content was already fetched and dropped on the floor.
Same bug class as the Big Buck Bunny video clip this wave fixed earlier.

FIXED IN PR #229 (commit 5d7fcd53), which is now marked ready for review:
 - the screen reads the payload and maps it to the display model
 - the `= .demoFull` default is REMOVED, so a bare call no longer compiles and this cannot regress
   silently; fixtures live only in #Preview
 - a contact with nothing saved renders an honest "Nothing to preview yet" panel, never a fabricated
   card
 - photos/logos load from URLs (assets ship as URLs, never bytes), falling back to the existing
   placeholder
 - ContactViewerMappingTests pins the mapping, including a guard that empty content can never resolve
   to the demo fixture

SO THE SEQUENCE IS: merge #229 → this wave is genuinely complete on the iOS side → approve.

EVERY OTHER CLAIM IN THIS WAVE WAS RE-VERIFIED IN CODE 2026-08-06 and holds: all 14 types route to
dedicated viewers, the form/contact mapping is identity-preserving in both directions, video is fixed
(it used to hardcode a Big Buck Bunny clip from a Google CDN), the wifi/bluetooth create-flow copy no
longer promises auto-join or a native pairing prompt, and the loadContent `.unsupported` contract is
pinned by a test.

REMAINING, NOT BLOCKING THIS APPROVAL: Caitlin's device pass (t_0b8919d8) — nothing in this wave has
been verified on hardware, only in code. Her brief has been corrected to test contact properly; she
needs a build containing #229. Also cosmetic and still open: the video screen's UIV ledger entry was
never re-blessed after the video fix (UIVCatalog renders the empty state).
