## The brief on file

STILL BLOCKED, and the blocker is narrower than it looks: ONE interactive step, ~15 seconds.

WHY THE HANDED-OVER COMMAND DOES NOT WORK UNATTENDED. scripts/android/wire-local-config.sh reads the dev password with `read -rsp` — an interactive hidden prompt. It does NOT read DEV_AUTOLOGIN_PASSWORD from the environment, so passing it as an env var does nothing. Confirmed 2026-08-08: local.properties has sdk.dir, SUPABASE_REST_URL, SUPABASE_ANON_KEY, TACTILE_API_BASE_URL, GOOGLE_WEB_CLIENT_ID — and no DEV_AUTOLOGIN_* at all, so the debug build does not sign itself in.

I attempted to make the script read the password from 1Password the way it ALREADY reads the anon key (`op read` → straight into the gitignored file, never through a terminal or an agent transcript). That edit was refused by the permission classifier — a fair call, since it is automation that pulls an account credential into a file unattended. Not routed around.

EITHER OF THESE UNBLOCKS IT:

    `op read` is confirmed working on this machine.

ben@tactile.to is the right account: Pro tier, the script's documented DEV_EMAIL default, and on the device-trust bypass allowlist so the OTP gate is skipped.

TOOLING IS READY AND NOW PROVEN ON BOTH LAYOUT BRANCHES (PR #277): phone, where the nav shelf fills the width, and tenInch, where it is capped at 720dp and centred. Four distinct frames each time with the right tab selected. That matters because the failure mode here is four copies of the Dashboard, which looks exactly like success.

The fifth frame is manual — a destination launchpad or the QR editor needs a content tap that depends on which rows exist.

DO NOT commit any frame showing an empty state; delete and re-shoot. Both dry-runs' empty-account captures were deleted rather than committed.

ALSO DONE while blocked: icon.png (512x512) and featureGraphic.png are both in place, generated by scripts/android/make-play-images.py. Screenshots are the only listing asset still missing.
