## The brief on file

Viv — Delete the two abandoned Analytics rebuild generations sitting beside the live screens. Careful: there are TWO Realtime screens — keep the live one, delete only the old AnalyticsKitRealtimeScreen.

4,127 lines removed. xcodebuild exit 0. Ground truth used: AnalyticsHostView.body renders only `analyticsSurface`, and its own comment states "Nothing below this comment is currently rendered."

Removed as whole files (8): AnalyticsKitOverviewScreen, DeepDiveHostView, AnalyticsKitRealtimeScreen, AnalyticsKitInsightsScreen, AnalyticsKitMapToolbar, AnalyticsKitMapTreeList, AnalyticsKitMapWidget, AnalyticsKitDashboardWidgetConfig.
Removed in place (each sat inside a LIVE file): AnalyticsKit.DashboardWidgetCard (831 lines) + its extensions in DashboardWidgetsB/C; AnalyticsHostView's dead region (269 lines — legacyShellBody, the overviewScreen chain, and the legacy dashboardsScreen/mapScreen wrappers); AnalyticsKit.Shell + its DEBUG preview.

BRIEF WAS CORRECT on the Realtime trap: AnalyticsKit.LiveScreen is live (AnalyticsHostView:86, also in UIVCatalog); AnalyticsKit.RealtimeScreen was reachable only from the dead legacyShellBody. LiveScreen untouched.

TWO BRIEF ERRORS, both corrected — worth reading before anyone touches this area again:
1. "Delete AnalyticsKitShell" would have BROKEN THE BUILD. AnalyticsKitShell.swift also declares `AnalyticsKit.SubPage`, which is live in three places (AnalyticsHostView's sectionSidebar, AnalyticsDeepDiveBlueBanner, AnalyticsComingSoonView). Only the `Shell` struct itself was dead. I removed Shell and left the file.
2. "the ~1600-line dead DashboardWidgetCard" describes a struct NESTED inside the 1609-line AnalyticsKitDashboardsScreen.swift — it is not its own file, and the enclosing DashboardsScreen is LIVE (rendered at content:109). ~1600 was the file's size, the struct is 831 lines. Also note AnalyticsKitMapWidget looked live at first pass because DashboardsScreen:1372 uses it — but that line sits inside DashboardWidgetCard, so it died with it.

LEFTOVER, low priority, not blocking: removing Shell may have orphaned its exclusive helpers in the same file (Header, SubNav, SavedViewsDropdown, FilterBar, GlassCapsule, SettingsGear, SavedView, sampleSavedViews, FilterScope). They compile fine and are warnings at worst. Worth a follow-up sweep, but I did not widen scope to chase them.

pbxproj gotcha for the rest of this wave: these files carry NON-HEX ids (e.g. AA5E1001000000000000G037). A hex-only sweep removes the PBXFileReference but silently leaves the Sources build-phase entry dangling. Verified clean after fixing: project.pbxproj lints OK, 0 dangling refs, 0 orphan build files.

SCOPE NOTE: the wave goal estimates ~2,200 lines of dead code across all 7 tasks. This single task removed 4,127. The wave estimate is low.
