## The brief on file

Viv — REWRITTEN round 17. The original named a file that does not exist; the underlying question may still be live.

WHAT WAS WRONG. This task sent you to apps/web-mobile/features/destinations/components/CategoryPicker.tsx. That file does not exist — `git ls-files | grep -i CategoryPicker` returns nothing at 48f9f67c. The disabled-state pattern it described exists nowhere either. Anyone picking this up would have burned the session looking for it. (t_086ca77e had the same false premise and is rewritten too.)

WHAT THE FLOW ACTUALLY IS. apps/web-mobile/features/destinations/components/DestinationCategoryGrid.tsx, rendering DESTINATION_CATEGORIES from ../lib/createCatalog. The shared catalog is packages/destinations-core/src/catalog.ts (464 lines), whose kinds are: url, linkHub, connectCard, contact, payment, menu, document, gallery, video, notes, action.

THE QUESTION WORTH ANSWERING, if any: does every catalog kind have a real builder on web-mobile, and does an UNMAPPED kind fail loudly rather than rendering a dead tile? That is the actual risk — a kind added to the shared catalog that the mobile grid silently cannot build.

IF THE ANSWER IS A CHECK, WRITE IT AS A SCAN OVER THE CATALOG, not a patch to the grid. Derive the kind list from catalog.ts at test time, assert each maps to a builder, and give it a mutation that proves an unmapped kind goes red — add a synthetic kind to the derived list and watch it fail naming that kind. A hardcoded list of eleven kinds is the same drift this task was a victim of.

Not attempted this round: round 17 spent its budget on rendering the 20 never-rendered authenticated routes in apps/web and on the escaper scan. Left open deliberately rather than closed unverified.
