## The brief on file

Cadence — write the ingestion core for athletics-hub: takes normalised metric and food rows from ANY source and upserts into daily_metrics/food_log using the unique constraints from N1, so re-pulling a day is idempotent. Record last-run status (source, timestamp, rows written, error) in a small ingest_runs table and expose it so a stalled sync is visible in the hub, not silent. This module must not import anything Cronometer-specific.
